In this poem the writer is insisting that by helping good people you help yourself in so many ways.It is as if Swaami kaaryamu,swakaaryamu jariginatlu annamaata.

He gives the example of a coconut tree.If you water the tree regularly,coconut tree gives quality coconuts with huge amounts of water in it.So, in the end you yourself are benefited than the tree itself.Similarly,if you help a good person,You will achieve respect in the society.You get self satisfaction and you can reap happiness ten fold as an after effect.Here ,he is insisting Sajjana saangathyma is essential to every one.To be able to help god charactered persons is a boon to us.

Life is a saga of happiness and sorrow,of wealth and poverty.It goes on and on.We should be satisfied with what we have and should not feel jealous of others fate.That is why the writer is saying that our friends fortune is not our fortune and our vows are not theirs.Even while Kubera was Sivas friend ,Siva had to beg for his livelihood.So, others wealth is of no use to us. Our possessions are ours to enjoy.So,we should be content with what we have.

There is an eco friendly poem at last!The writer is telling us not to cut down trees for mere trivial things.Because if trees are felled down ,greenery is lost.If greenery is lost,oxygen output by green leaves via photosynthesis diminishes.So entire life on earth is affected adversely.Ecological balance would be lost.So only a fool would think of cutting down trees and use them as fuel for cooking and in making coal by burning them.

Writer is insisting that if a king harms the general public being influenced by a minister with negative attitude.it is as if a fool cutting down the trees for cooking purpose.

This has been observed long back by our people but failed to get attention by the people in power for various reasons.That is why we are facing so much trouble regarding ecosphere.

There is a saying that RAJULA SOMMU RAALLA PAALU.sIMILARLY treasures held by people without using for self or public are an utter waste.Here the writer is giving the example of honeybees.They collect honey from various resources moving from one place to another without rest.They do it collectively too for long periods.But that honey is not used by them at not even a single point in their lives.It is collected by humans for their usage at a later date.


Similarly misers earn so much money by fair and unfair means and dont have the mind to use them freely.They are either afraid that people would no that they have so much funds with them or dont have intention to utilise it properly .They dontknow how to enjoy life.That money or riches is either taken away by the kings or goes waste as it was usually hidden in the ground in olden days for fear of theft.So such money is neither good to you or to the society you live in.So,it is better to come out of that miserly attitude and think broadly.

First impression is the best impression.Our attire,attitude,dressing up should be neat and respectable,whether in public or at home.Some people have very bad dressing up habits,vulgar gestures, and dont bother to maintain personal hygiene.As a result even family members detest to be seen with them or live with them.


Even if your is a very good person and loves you so much,she would not tolerate this type of attitude in her husband.She would not allow him to come near her.Same is the case with woman also.They too should present them selves in a pleasant manner,neatly dressed up and maintain personal hygiene.Otherwise ,they too should have face the same music from their partners and other family members.
It is the minimum required from any one.Even in schools or colleges, you see that neatly dressed people have more friends than shabbily dressed students.Even teachers look down on such students.

Bringing up children in a right and proper atmosphere is very relevant for their future.If our childhood is not properly guided by our parents in a right direction, our character goes astray .We dont lead a life with proper morals and lifestyle becomes hazardous and entire society is affected by peoples immoral life style.

That is what the writer is telling in this poem.Prostitution Is a shame to our society and for our moral values. Practically women of lower cadres and castes are forced into it by our society in a shame less manner.And we have the guts to look down on them when in reality it is us who should feel ashamed for their pathetic plight.They have no way out ,Even if they want to lead decent and respectable live s,we dont allow them.People who encourage that profession should be banned from the society ,but not the victims of prostitution.

But here the writer is shame less in attributing the faults to the victims instead of trying to correct the male maniacs from leading a decent life with moral values.

You can think of how their life style would have been in their child hood and the surroundings where they would have grown up.What more can you expect from them beside telling lies and lead a life in wrong direction!

iNSTEAD OF COMMENTING THEM IN a derogatory manner,Writer could have admonished his gender from polluting the society.

He says that even if you give large amount of money also,prostitute does not tell truth.Even if they keep oath on themselves also,you should not believe her.Then why go to her leaving your wife,if you are so intelligent and worldly wise?

People have rightly said that we have satanic brains.We always think ill of others.Our attitude towards others itself is at fault.We need not harm others physically.We can show them hell by our gestures,way of talking,acts in a humiliating way and what not.So our entire self is polluted and harmful.So writer feels that in comparison other animals which we feel are harmful or venomous no where come near us in wickedness or harmfulness.
That is what he is saying.Serpent has venom in its fangs.Scorpion has venom in its tail.Actually ,it is a way of their survival to protect themselves from enemies.They exclusively use their weapon for survival only.But in the case of human beings,they are bent to harm others whether there is threat  from the person concerned.


So we should be aware of those,whose intentions are not fair.

YEKABHUKTHAM,BHOOSAYANAM.This is supposed to be the life style of bachelors in olden days.Having betel leaves after Lunch or dinner is supposed to be the life style of married persons.Here ,the writer is saying that a mouth which does not chew Betel leaves is a waste.It means that he is implying that every one should have healthy marital life.

There is also a saying in Telugu--bhogi kaanivaadu,yogi kaaledu ani.

So after reaching appropriate age,it is necessary that one should lead a married life.Then the society also would be going in the right path.

We should be talented enough to handle to different people effectively.Otherwise you are a failure.Situations and people will not come to us according to our choice and taste.So you should be intelligent enough to handle the situation.Other wise you pale out before others.

As Darwin says there is always struggle for existence and in it survival of the fittest

we see often.

Lake ,ponds and tanks should have lotus flowers in them.It is there natural habitat.If the conditions are not congenial for their existence,they cant survive.They bring beauty to the nature .Man gets relaxed when he sees nature in its true colors.Even otherwise we should live and let live.So unless the pond is polluted or contaminated,lotus would have survived.So we should be aware not to spoil the beauty of the nature.

Romance springs up during night and for every one ,moon and moonlight are the catalysts in improvising romantic mood.Even writers are inspired by moonlight.If a person falls in love at first sight,they say he moonstruck.So moon has so much importance in every ones life whether directly or indirectly.

That is why Writer is insisting that a mouth without tasting betel leaves, lack of intelligence to cope up,pond without lotus flowers and moonless night are an utter waste.

Man is a social animal.He wants some to prove his existence.Otherwise he is as good as dead.We want to share our views.life and everything that comes across us in our lives.For that we want congenial and pleasant atmosphere. We want people to accept us in a right way.There should not be any antagonism for our survival, whether it is created by nature or created by man himself.

Writer in this poem is trying to explain this trait of human nature in a simple and understandable way for all.We should not stay where our people such as friends,relations or well wishers are not there.We should not even stay where nature creates trouble for our smooth and convenient living.Say deserts where you cant even get water even for drinking,let alone for other activities.The place should be congenial for farming,raise milch animals,poultry and others.

If you cant raise crops ,from where do you get your food for survival?Sufficient water bodies should be present in the vicinity for your day to day activities and farming.So you should be careful in choosing a place for your living.

We like to lead peaceful lives.Negative feelings and opposition can never make you lead a happy,contented and free life.So,you should not choose a place where your neighbors have no faith in your integrity and doubt your feasibility.

Man is selfish to the core.He is very narrow minded.He thinks that this universe starts with him and ends with him.He feels is larger than life and is next to god himself.Writer is expanding this side of his nature in detail for to understand.Because we are also same.There is a saying in Telugu,Aa thaanulode kadaa ee gochee ani.That means that traits dont change from to another in a very marked way because our forefathers are same.

Whatever riches we have.we feel we are on the top and no one can beat us.We are the first ,the best and the worst.All the superlatives belong to us.Because even in anger we say ,naa kante cheddavaadu ledu,naa kante durmaargudu ledu---like.They are all negative traits,but we wish to be the best in them also.See,that is our attitude!

If we are in troubles or in poverty ,we feel that we are the worst sufferers.Fate is all against us.If you are depressed ,you feel you are all alone and there is not even a single person to help you.To you ,there is no great calamity as gigantic as your poverty or your troubles in this world.One feels his death is going to be the greatest catastrophe to the entire mankind.Even Rama would not have felt so great even once in his entire life span.

The woman you like is more beautiful than even Rambha,oorvasi,thilotthama or Menaka for your eyes.It is a fact because you the person with your mental eye,besides your actual eyes.

The fact is that nothing starts for you or stops for you.You are not even a spec in this universe.you are practically negligible.Your existance is of no importance to any one except your family members.If you irritate them ,they too dont mind you.

So,we should be practical and keep your feet on earth only.You should not live on clouds.

Writer has notified certain things which bring out so many emotions in us.What does a foe do? he disorients your calm.THat is what anger does to you.

So it is confirmed that anger is our first foe,because it makes you lose your cool.You take hasty and wrong decisions when in anger.Some times they cant even be rectified.What a loss!

People fear to come near you and explain freely their views.There by you will be losing good friends and well wishers.From health point of view also,so many ailments would attack like ,Bp and others.You cant share your happiness or sorrow with anyone because you become a loner by your anger ..

While on the other hand.If you are cool,and of pleasant disposition,people like to interact with you.You lighten the atmosphere.Everyone around you is happy and relaxed.They come to you for friendship and you are positive for corrections and suggestions which may help you in the long run.You would not suffer from anxiety and depression.So it is like an armor to you warding off bad influences.
