Bringing up children in a right and proper atmosphere is very relevant for their future.If our childhood is not properly guided by our parents in a right direction, our character goes astray .We dont lead a life with proper morals and lifestyle becomes hazardous and entire society is affected by peoples immoral life style.
That is what the writer is telling in this poem.Prostitution Is a shame to our society and for our moral values. Practically women of lower cadres and castes are forced into it by our society in a shame less manner.And we have the guts to look down on them when in reality it is us who should feel ashamed for their pathetic plight.They have no way out ,Even if they want to lead decent and respectable live s,we dont allow them.People who encourage that profession should be banned from the society ,but not the victims of prostitution.
But here the writer is shame less in attributing the faults to the victims instead of trying to correct the male maniacs from leading a decent life with moral values.
You can think of how their life style would have been in their child hood and the surroundings where they would have grown up.What more can you expect from them beside telling lies and lead a life in wrong direction!
iNSTEAD OF COMMENTING THEM IN a derogatory manner,Writer could have admonished his gender from polluting the society.
He says that even if you give large amount of money also,prostitute does not tell truth.Even if they keep oath on themselves also,you should not believe her.Then why go to her leaving your wife,if you are so intelligent and worldly wise?
