Anything is in our minds.If you are happy entire world is green and fresh.You love your self and you love your surroundings and youe people.If you are in a dark mood or depressed,Everything looks gloomy .Even if the othe person is casual or even your well wisher ,you find fault with his intentions and you ready to start a fight.
That is what the writer is saying in this poem.While in frienship,You dont find faults in the other persons.Even if you notice ,you are magnanimous in overlooking his defaults.You willfully ignore his shortcomings.But once afriction enters into the relationship,even the plus points in his character appear to be gross drawbacks and dents in his character.So everything in ones out look at the issue or the person.
But we should never be biased in any relationship.If a person is right encourage him and if he is wrong,correct him.A good friend should be like a mirror.Because a mirror shows whatever you want to see and also those which you dont want to see.It is impartial.If you are beautiful ,it shows your beauty. If you are ugly.it show your ugliness in full.It is your moral responsibility to correct your friend if he is wrong and encourage him when he is right.
