Writer is saying that we should not make Kula sthree ie pious and good characterd woman unnecessarily.It would reap unhappiness and poverty in that house.He is saying this because man is always in search of short term happiness.He does not give importance to his wife and show love and affection towards her.To make sure that his unlawful deeds are not questioned by his wife,he always indulges in humiliating her or put blame on her deeds and character.He does this even if he knows pretty well that she is perfect in her character and her love towards her husband and family.
If she suffers because of these wrong deeds of her husband and weeps ,That family never flourishes. It will practically go to dogs.
In practicality,whether .one is wife or not,no one has right to make one suffer for no fault of them. Good never comes of it and their curse is more powrful if they are not in an equal position to retaliate or counter your acts.
